blouses made from post consumer waste

At the moment I´m trying to find different possibilities how to become more sustainable.

I started working with Textilhafen Berlin, there most of the clothes donations from Berliner Stadtmission are sorted.

They get much more clothes than they can use for people in need, thats why they are looking for new concepts of a meaningful reuse.

This summer I started sorting together with them, to find out, which kind of clothes they get and how to reuse them.

I found some oversized skirts and dresses, took them apart and sewed new casual blouses out of them.

In future I want to find out, how the collaboration with Textilhafen could look like, how we could be more efficient but also which other ways of reusing and recycling are possible. I think there is lots of potential, lets find out!
